1. Ownership and Authorship

Under Section 2(d) of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, the "author" of a computer-generated or AI-assisted work is the person who causes the creation of that work. Therefore, The Living Kingdom is the sole legal author and rights holder of all AI-generated and curated artworks published on https://thelivingkingdom.in.

All content is protected under:

• Indian Copyright Act, 1957
• Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)
• Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works
• TRIPS Agreement (WTO)

Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or modification constitutes infringement under these laws.

2. Scope of Protected Works

The following content is protected by copyright:

• All digital artworks, illustrations, and conceptual images
• Visual compositions and edited image sets
• Textual content, titles, and written descriptions
• Website layout, interface design, and code structure
• Trademarks, logos, and brand identifiers related to The Living Kingdom

This protection applies globally from the moment the work is published or created.

3. Prohibited Uses Without Written Permission

The following actions are strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from The Living Kingdom:

• Copying, reproducing, or reposting images from thelivingkingdom.in on any website, blog, or social platform
• Using artworks for commercial, promotional, or resale purposes
• Training any AI or machine learning system using our images or text data
• Altering, remixing, or editing artworks to claim modified ownership
• Removing watermarks, copyright marks, or embedded metadata
• Creating NFTs or digital collectibles from our artworks
• Embedding or redistributing images on third-party marketplaces

4. Limited Personal Use License

Users are permitted to:

• View, share, or download artworks only for personal, educational, or research purposes.

This limited license does not grant ownership or the right to commercialize or reproduce the work. The Living Kingdom reserves the right to revoke this license at any time without notice.

5. Reporting Copyright Violations

If you believe your copyright or content has been used improperly on thelivingkingdom.in, or if someone has misused The Living Kingdom's images elsewhere, please send a notice to:

Upon receiving a valid notice, The Living Kingdom will investigate promptly and remove the infringing material if verified. Submitting false claims is a punishable offense under Indian law (Section 65A & 65B) and may result in counteraction.

6. DMCA Compliance (International Protection)

The Living Kingdom fully complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you are a rights holder outside India, you may also submit a DMCA takedown request following the same process above. We cooperate with hosting providers, search engines, and digital networks to enforce takedown and blacklist requests against repeat infringers.

8. Legal Consequences of Infringement

Unauthorized use of The Living Kingdom's artworks or designs may result in:

• Civil liability under Sections 55–62 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957
• Criminal penalties including fines up to ₹2,00,000 and/or imprisonment up to 3 years
• DMCA takedown and permanent content removal from hosting platforms
• Claims for statutory damages and recovery of legal fees

All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Kota, Rajasthan, India.
